Stacks of Wheat (End of Summer) Woven Blanket – Claude Monet
Details
This 100% cotton woven blanket features Claude Monet’s Stacks of Wheat (End of Summer), an Impressionist painting from 1890–91 and part of his celebrated Stacks of Wheat series at Giverny, France.
Monet returned to the wheat stacks repeatedly, studying how changes in light, atmosphere, weather, and season could transform the same familiar landscape. In Stacks of Wheat (End of Summer), warm golds and earthy tones move across the field and stacks beneath the softer colors of the surrounding landscape and sky. His loose, layered brushwork turns an agricultural subject into a study of color, atmosphere, and the passage of time.
The artwork is translated here into a woven cotton textile, giving the image a tactile quality of its own. Made from 100% cotton, the blanket is soft and breathable, with colorful fringed edges that complement the woven construction. It is available in four sizes.
