Crinum Giganteum is a botanical illustration by celebrated French botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté, created for his monumental flower collection Les Liliacées in the early 19th century. Appearing as Plate 181, the illustration depicts the plant historically identified as Crinum giganteum, with a cluster of elegant white, lily-like blossoms rising above broad, arching green leaves.
Redouté renders the plant with the graceful precision characteristic of his botanical work, balancing scientific detail with an artistic composition. Soft white petals, subtle green accents, slender stems, and richly shaded foliage stand against the light background, allowing the dramatic form of the plant to dominate the image.
