This 100% cotton woven blanket features Taste, one of the five sense-themed works in the late-medieval The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry series. The elegantly dressed lady appears alongside the collection's iconic lion and unicorn and selects a sweet from a dish presented by her attendant while a parakeet rests on her gloved hand.

The scene is set within the red millefleurs landscape shared across the series, with the lion, unicorn, flowers, trees, birds, and small animals surrounding the central figures. A monkey eating a berry adds another reference to taste in the background. Created in the late 15th century, Taste belongs to the six-piece ensemble known in French as La Dame à la licorne, now preserved at the Musée de Cluny in Paris.

Woven in 100% cotton and finished with colorful fringed edges, this blanket carries the rich symbolism and old-world character of medieval tapestry art into a living room, bedroom, reading nook, or art-inspired home with the scene's central figure, animals, heraldic banners, and botanical details in a textured woven format.
